GRL Solutions has self rated assessments that help leaders understand their own leadership style, identify strengths and focus on development opportunities that will help reach their potential.

The tools we use are independently validated and we take great care in mapping what they measure to the organization’s existing competencies and metrics. All tools are available through internet access and can be administered by GRL Solutions or the client.

Success Insights
Talent is a combination of many factors, one of which is behavior. The Success Insights™ report not only defines someone’s unique behavior style, but guides the respondent and his/her manager in leveraging it for success.

  • General Characteristics
  • Value to the Organization
  • Checklist for Communicating
  • Dont's on Communicating
  • Communications Tips (for use with others)
  • Ideal Environment (behavioral fit)

Workplace Motivators
When you look at how decisions are made and where people focus, much of it has to do with what motivates people. Equally important, we find that people tend to motivate others based upon what drives them. This tendency creates missed opportunities to engage people.

Motivation is directly tied to what we value. The beliefs and values that we have developed over time filter how we receive and give information, which in turn affects the behavior of an individual or an organization.

An individual’s experiences, references, education, and training tell us WHAT they can do. Behavioral assessments (DISC) tell us HOW they will do it. Knowledge of an individual’s motivations tells us WHY they do what they do. Because values lie beneath observable behavioral styles, values are not discovered until we have known individuals for a long period of time. Alternatively, we can measure values through the use of a carefully constructed instrument.

The Workplace Motivators report identifies six different values categories. This report contains individualized sections explaining the respondent’s rankings in:
  • General Motivation Characteristics
  • Value to the Organization
  • Keys to Managing and Motivating
  • Training, Professional Development and Learning Insights
  • Continuous Quality Improvement
    • A Norms and Comparisons section (respondent vs. national mean)
    • A Values Action Plan affirming strengths and encouraging growth and development
    • A Team-Building summary to facilitate sharing with team members

Talent Insights
A powerful tool to accurately measure someone’s talent and their ability to put it into action. We are able to measure:
  • Talent (116 different leadership and management traits)
  • Attitude and Focus (where they focus their efforts and talent)
  • Access (will they actually put their abilities into action)
  • Skill (will they produce the desired result)
Based upon the science of Axiology, this tool accurately measures someone’s ability to perform a job or function. Through precise definitions of the traits we are measuring, we can accurately map to an organization’s existing leadership and job competencies and actually measure an individual’s ability to perform those competencies.

The results are powerful individual action plans that focus directly on specific needs, allowing leaders to focus in areas that will have the greatest impact on improving their ability to perform within their sphere of influence. Unlike many other instruments intended for a clinical setting but adapted to a business one, the Talent Insights instrument was designed, from the beginning, exclusively for use in a business environment.

Its overall intent, format and output are specifically tailored to meet the needs of business managers and executives today. Because of that flexibility, each report can (and we believe should) be mapped to competencies and models you have defined. This not only provides laser like focus on individual performance, it allows you to measure the impact that the competencies you have defined are having in the work environment.
